An Evening of Armenian Wine, Music & Culture @ College Ave. Thursday, May 29th

Join us for a special night celebrating one of the world’s oldest wine cultures. Armenia’s winemaking history stretches back over 6,000 years—older than France, Italy, and even the concept of “wine country” as we know it. From ancient cave fermentations to modern volcanic terroir, Armenian wines are experiencing a global renaissance—and we’re pouring a lineup that shows exactly why.

We’ll taste through:

  • NV Keush Origins Brut – High-elevation bubbles grown at nearly 6,000 feet, dry, lifted, and mineral-driven

  • 2023 Van Ardi Kangun – A bright, expressive white made from Armenia’s native Kangun grape

  • 2020 Shofer Areni – Light-bodied and fresh, with red fruit and floral lift

  • 2019 Zulal Areni – Elegant and structured, with wild berries and a volcanic edge

  • 2017 NOA Areni Reserve – A powerful, age-worthy red from one of the country’s top vineyards

To make the night complete, we’ll pair these wines with traditional Armenian music and a sweet treat: gata, Armenia’s iconic buttery pastry. Come raise a glass to Armenia’s past, present, and future in wine—it’s a story worth tasting.
