We are taking the direct translation of this otherwise famous Champagne region and looking at some other "hills of white wine" throughout France. Think of this event as the ultimate cross comparison of lean, food friendly alternatives to Sancerre. Don't get us wrong, there's nothing wrong with Sancerre...but it's the oldest trick in the how-to-dinner-party book. Instead, we’re pouring youthful Chablis, dry Vouvray, crisp Savoie, zesty Vermentino and bright Catalanes blends?
