Right in the heart of Italy (Umbria) lies a small hill town called Montefalco that is known for producing some of the most powerful wines in the world. Made from Sagrantino of course! We’ll be tasting the complete lineup of Umbrian wines from Scacciadiavoli, one of the OGs of the region that has been around since 1884. You might even recognize the classic label on the bottles. We’ll explore all that they have to offer including several whites (including a Trebbiano aged in amphorae that rivals its neighbors in Abruzzo—we see you Valentini), a Sangiovese blend that drinks more like a Super Tuscan and what would a Montefalco tasting be like without a Sagrantino?
