This is always our favorite traditionally-tuned Zinfandel. By traditional, I mean it woos us with balance, not brawn and bluster. Gorgeous crushed red fruits with acidity – not too much – but enough to make this Zin a balanced one. It will sell out fast, so if you dig it, stock up. It’s the house red at Chez Panisse and has quite a local following. Organic farming sweetens the deal as well. A true Berkeley Zin if I’ve ever had one!
