We love it when one of the most attractive labels in the store is *also* one of the tastiest bottles. Wife-and-husband winemakering team Lynn Wheeler and Kenny Likitprakong named this one after their daughters, and as family heirlooms go, this has gotta beat a silverware set. Lynn's making this one, and working with some of he oldest Chardonnay plantings in the state (1944!), and ones that are organically farmed to boot! Lynn works naturally - native yeast, barely any sulfur at bottling - but is after a classic, nigh-Burgundian expression of Chard. There's oak, yes, but it's neutral, balanced, and in service of the wine's intrinsic pleasures. (Some blind tasters have mistaken this for village-level Burg!) Refreshing and bright with acidity, it's got notes of lemon, stone fruit, and white pear.
