We like Provence as much as anybody, but there's more to French rosé than what's made in those rolling, sun-drenched hills. Take for example, this rosé of organically farmed Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from famed Bordeaux house, Chateau la Rame. With roots dating back to the1800s, rosé is a relative new venture for them but golly are we glad they indulged! Crunchy and fresh on the palette with notes of candied red berries (don't worry, it's dry) herbs and a hint of smoke, theres enough body and acidity to stand up to heartier fare. Perfect with roast chicken or even on its own!
