Join us to celebrate Helen S. Cohen's new art show here at Vintage Berkeley on Vine street. Helen is a San Francisco-based mixed media painter, whose bright, gestural abstract work will be exhibited on our walls for the next few months!
Our friend Alex Powar of T. Edward Wines will also be here to pour a delicious lineup of wines from the Tuscany based winery Monte Bernardi. The Monte Bernardi winery dates back to 1085 (!!) in the region of Panzano in Tuscany--and is run by Michael Schmelzer and family, making beautiful Sangiovese-based wines and olive oil. Their vineyards are situated in the hilly, southern most region of Panzano, an area that has been acknowledged as one of the “Grand Crus” of Chianti Classico. The farming has been certified biodynamic since 2004, and are some of our absolute favorite red wines coming out of Tuscany. We'll be tasting a selection of their simply mind blowing vintage Chianti Classico's!
