Rosalind's Zinfandel - her first varietal bottling, though she's been working with fruit from organic, dry farmed Ricetti vineyards for years now - is bright and snappy enough to make you rethink your perception of cali Zin. Fennel seed, tarragon, and clove accent the bing cherry and cranberry that zip across the palate, full of cheery acidity and a lingering finish. At just 12.5% alcohol (but with plenty of concentration), this is sessionable Zinfandel at its most easy drinking.
