Pisoni's second label (read: the one you can get without begging to be on the mailing list!) is reliably among the most California Pinot-hounds most reliably sought-after bottles. It’s a blend of fruit from Garys’, Pisoni, and Soberanes Vineyards, meaning that the wine is going to be a triumph of bold fruit and foggy coastal climate complexity. Black cherries, raspberries, forest floor and sage all hum and harmonize, and the whole gets better with every minute it's open to air. Very limited (400-ish cases made?), so get this while we have it.
