Matteo Furlani is the wizard of the Dolomites–a fourth generation farmer/winemaker working biodynamically in the mountains above Trentino, making some of our all time favorites bubbles. He also makes a bit of still wines which are delicious, food friendly and always remind us of spring. The Bianco is a high-elevation field blend of Nosiola, Verdealbara, Lagarino Bianco with a bit of Muller Thurgau in the mix, vinified and aged with absolutely no barrel and made without the use of preservatives (no added sulfur)! This is bright, mineral driven with a nice balance of fruitiness and texture. A perfect low ABV food wine (from lighter meats to all sorts of veggies and cheeses) and also delicious on its own!
