Bertrand Galbrun is making his 'Antidote' Grolleau from a 45+ year-old vineyard near Bourgueil. Completely natural and non-interventionist, the fruit is hand-harvested, trod by foot, and spontaneously fermented. No sulfur, chemicals or other are added. A lovely light body balances bright notes of plum and berries with a savory, earthy finish. (We like to chill this slightly, but it has the structure not to be.)
