While the Cellario’s vineyard holdings include esteemed Piemonte sites, these guys are the opposite of the so-called Barolo Boys to the north -- they practice instead a winemaking philosophy they call “wine for the people”. (But then you probably already gleaned that via the crown cap and the one-liter bottle!) They call their È Rosso their “slurp wine,” and we get it: bright cherries, forest-foraged herbs, and pure gulpability. Pass this around the pizza box, and watch how fast it disappears!
