This is the wine that put SF Chronicle’s 2018 Winemaker of the Year on the map... and it’s never, ever been better. A blend of (mostly) Grenache, (a good bit of) Syrah, and (splashes of) Mourvèdre and Counoise, this is light and lively in the glass, the veritable opposite of that over-extracted, blowsy GSM blend you had down in Paso that time. Made from 100% organic fruit, we get herb-laced strawberries, Elephant Heart plums, cranberries, white pepper, forest floor and more. A wine we’d happily take to the southern Rhone to have a Pape-off with!
