We are fascinated (maybe even obsessed?) with wines planted on volcanic soils. The depth and complexity of volcanic wines can knocks our socks off -- and this delicious, organic, estate-grown Garganega (planted deep into lava rocks) is as complex as it is delicious. The nose is elegant yet complex, with notes of citrus fruit, flowers and almonds. The palate is well-structured and delicately fruity, with zesty minerality and that bitter almond finish that's typical of Garganega-based wines. Perfect with a fresh pasta meal especially a regional classic like Baccalà Mantecato!
