Farming in California is becoming increasingly difficult every year - risk of frost, fire, and draught loom over farmers - and each choice we make to bring a wine into the shop creates a direct impact on farmers, growers, & winemakers who dedicate their lives to the land, and give up much of their control to the whims of nature. Take this bright and juicy Pinot, born from the need to pivot in the 2020 harvest season, which brought fires through much of California. Grapes were picked early (to avoid smoke), for a super light expression, with loads of juicy sour cherries and unripe strawberry. A wine for chilling with friends outside, savoring the wild beauty this state has to offer.
