Okay, look: this is special sh*t. One of the finest natural winemakers in France, Christian Ducroux has been certified biodynamic since 1985 -- about 30 years before most people knew the word. This is a living wine, straight up, with zero sulfur additions. It is moody, expressive and animal in its intensity. Blackberries, pepper, licorice, earth, meat. Can density and profundity be tasting notes? I want them to be, here. There’s not another wine on earth like this declassified Regnié, much less in our shop! (Pro tip: if you have time, decant this.)
