Description
I'm sorry, what now? Organically farmed, single-vineyard Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.... fat this price? This is a long stone's throw from the renowned Freedom Hill Vineyard (check out Walter Scott's, if we still have any -- but that's 3x the price!) in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range -- and even by Oregon standards, this is a cool, cool, cool-climate spot. An asset in a changing climate, as the wines retain great acidity and freshness. A nose of black cherries, pine and peppercorn carries through on the palate to a medium-weight Pinot that completely overdelivers for its money.
