Not all Rhones are created equal! This is from one of the most respected young gun producers in France, and a guy who’s barely imported here -- we were the first in CA! Julien Mus has one of the primest parcels in all of Chateauneuf (near Vieux Telegraphe), and is devoted to chemical-free farming. Here he takes pure, biodynamically grown Grenache and turns it into the sort of thing you remember from your last trip to France, and were told you can't get here: elegant as all heck, with spicy red and black fruits, this is a stunner. (We put a mild chill on ours and served it with herb-encrusted lamb chops and felt like wizards.)
