Description
Q: How to live? A: Wake from the sleep of habit! Thus spake philosopher (and winegrower!) Montaigne; was he thinking of the world's insistence on only drinking grapes they've heard of? And failure to drink Ploussard (one of the greatest and most undersung grapes in all of France)? Okay: prolly not. But the philosopher (and grapegrower/winemaker!) woulda been homies with groundbreaking biodynamic winemaker Julien Mareschal. Julien makes single-site, Burgundy-driven wines, and this Ploussard hums with aromas of macerated cherries and deep dark earth, with spicy tannins and Jura vibrancy. It's like ol' Monty said: “The most certain sign of wisdom is cheerfulness.”
