Reigning Californian Bubbles Champion Michael Cruse has created a new wonder... at sub-Ultramarine prices! (Ask us about that one, if you haven’t heard of it!) Made in the Champagne method, this is a blend of extraordinary CA grape sources: Alder Springs in cool Mendocino County, Rorick Heritage high in the Sierra Foothills, Keefer Ranch at the headwaters of Green Valley Creek in Sonoma and the rocky outcropping of Linda Vista in Napa, all from the 2019 vintage. Chardonnay is the main component (70%) mixed with Pinot Noir (30%). The whole is toasty, with an almond butter nose, hints of beeswax, white flowers, ripe apples, and a lemon squeeze.
