Give Syrah extra hang time and you’re rewarded with a complex blend of black plum, candied violets, game, smoke, and a bit of sinful bacon fat. Stereophonic's 'Une Autre Fin Est Possible' comes from the windy, marine-influenced vineyard of Sebastiano, one of CA's greatest and Rhone-iest sites. (One reviewer called a Sebastiano Syrah “a head-turner that would stand up easily in a blind flight of top Côte Rôties.”) Give it a spin in a decanter and serve with lamb.
