We’ve been cozying up to this freakishly seductive Grenache-Merlot blend for years, and the new vintage is as good as it's ever been. The aromas have no business being this sexy for the money: blackberries, strawberries, & cracked pepper, fershur. But spiced chai? How about dried lavender, thyme, rosemary, and fresh rain? A bizarrely beguiling southern French red for the dough, this is delicious and almost soulful stuff.
