2018 La Onda Amor Amarillo Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Shhh! Look around before you read this, and make sure no one’s looking as you fondle this bottle -- because you’re holding what may be the coolest Californian wine in the store right now. A Sierran blend of Semillon and Sauvignon (SSS, anyone?) made from a parcel in the famed (ask me! It's crazy!) Renaissance Vineyard farmed by rising star winemaker Dani Rozman. Situated at 1,900 feet on decomposed granite, the vineyard is untilled, dry-farmed, and wild. Full, round, vibrant, saline and luscious. There were only 276 bottles of this made and we begged our way into 12 of them. And that’s all we’re going to say about that.
