Bastide du Claux was founded by Sylvain Morey, the son of Jean-Marc Morey (rock-star vigneron of Chassagne-Montrachet), in the gorgeous hills where Provence meets the Rhône, in the heart of Luberon Parc Nacional. Barraban Luberon Blanc is a blend of Rolle (Vermentino) and Grenache Blanc, along with Clairette, Ugni Blanc, Rousanne, Marsanne, and Viognier. Those Rhônies throw everything into the pot. Aromatic pleasure is the result matched on the palate, white-peach, flowers, crunchiness and volume... this wine combines power, elegance and extravagance, underscored by a Bourgogne inspired touch of neutral oak.
