In the past decade, Radio-Coteau has cemented its reputation as one of the greatest winemakers in California, making impeccable, Burgundy-styled, California-souled Pinots and Chards. And Heintz is among the most highly regarded vineyards on the Sonoma Coast, full stop. So together? We're dealing with some Real "Wonder Twin Powers, Activate!" kinda stuff here, people. Apricot, chamomile, butter, brioche and orange peel make for a complex and inviting set of flavors... and then there's that classic Heintz note of textural richness. As lively as it is classic; with no new oak here, this has Burgundian balance and finesse. (Get this while we have it, as the critics have already gone ga-ga!)
