Dry Muscat is such a rare varietal, and one that continues to surprise us! Dazzlingly fragrant - think orange blossoms, jasmine, stone fruit, ginger, and more! This is old vine Muscat of Alexandria planted in 1945 — dry farmed, hand-harvested, & organic, from the hills high above coastal Malaga. The vineyards are incredibly steep ( up to 70° inclination!) with no terracing and are some of the most extreme in all of Europe. Expressive on the nose and concentrated on the palate the acidity is as dramatic as the landscape providing the wine with plenty of structure and snap. Summer aperitif galore!
