Now why woulda winemaker name his cuvée "ESCAPE FROM HELL?" If you have to ask, you don't know how devilish the 2020 vintage was in France. Natural winemaking wizard Vincent Marie was forced to combine various Gamays that he normally makes into three separate, single-site cuvées (“Fusion,” “Rockaille Billy,” and “Magma Rock”)... and even added some Gamay from his buddy Julien Merle in Beaujolais. The result is Pure Pleasure (you think hell-dwellers don't know how to drink?): herb-laced blueberries, lavender, black cherries, and just a hint of righteous (heavenly) funk. Try one and we promise you'll go to hell and back for this. (Unfined, unfiltered, no SO2 added, FYI).
