It's a timeless tale, really: Former Math Professor Abandons Alogrithms, Buys Vineyard Land.
Astonishly? It all computed! When former mathematician Rick Moshin traded valleys (Silicon for Russian River) in 1989, few could have predicted the cult that would develop. But now, 30 years on? His prized Goldridge-soil Pinot Noir vineyards are celebrated for yielding some of the Russian River's most classic expressions. Still family-owned and -operated, Moshin remains focused on hand-crafting wines that show off some of the Russian River Valley AVA's greatest spots.
This Thursday at Solano? We're opening five of their wines: theirSauvignon Blanc, their Rosé (which just won Double Gold in the SF Chronicle's Wine Competition!), two different Pinots, and their "Westside Crossing" Bordeaux Blend.
The Laws of Moshin.
$10 for Five Wines.
Only at Solano. 5:30 PM, 8/22.
