What we're about to tell you is true: every year, on the third Thursday of November, at one past midnight all over France, one of the most delightful and frivolous rituals in all the world of wine commences anew: Beaujolais Nouveau has arrived. (Wine bars are not allowed to open or sell their bottles a minute before then!) We'll have five to six Nouveaux incoming this season! Two of our favorite French producers from Beaujolais (Chermette and Dupeuble), and three of our favorite Californian winemakers (including secret, hard-to-get Nouveau cuvées from J. Brix, Berkeley's own Donkey & Goat... and more!)... because Frenchies don't get all the fun!
